Looking for?

gmax and wikishift

does any one have any input on these helmets there cheap but all reviews on them seem to make them great.

Ive been looking for a new helmet and just want to see what anybody had to say about the gmax line. Also is the wiki shift with transistional lens wich i most likely wont order online because i cant try it on and i have an abnormally large head. Point being have any of u tried a gmax or wikishift helmet and what did you think?

You want a cheap helmet, I picked one up at 2WheelToys for a Bill. Its a SparX and it makes no windnoise and has great ventilation, not to mention the really nice graphics... I've read reviews online and its starting to sell alot more.

Gmax is .

If your going for cheap, buy a Scorpian- it will hold up way better then a Gmax and isn't so bulky and ugly.

No problems so far and I've had mine for about 8 months now. I think there are something like 18 vents in the damm thing.

Based on anything besides opinion?

Buttload of vents...
Considerably LESS prone to chipping and scratching than my Shark was.
Rear-mounted LED get's peoples attention.
Fits my head more comfortable than most (Sohei, Shark, HJC, Scorpion)
Inexpensive
Shield/Visor detents hold open well under speed.
Used to, may still come with Clear & Smoked visor.

A Scorpion crashes well.

Someone advised me a few years ago "if you have a $100 mellon buy a $100 helmet". Sounded like pretty good advice.

i have a gmax...i use it at the track so i dont mess up my bell star...those points on the gmax are true BUT its bulky, loud, and the buttload of vents dont vent well
