Question about carburetors, and a honda 900rr

In this 97 RR I'm working on, I took the carbs to clean them up good, and found that the main jets where as follows:

outboard carbs, #115 (stock from what the catalog says)

inward carbs had #118 jets.

Does it means someone installed a jet kit in this thing?

I need to know, if it's still stock, I'll get a stock muffler, and if it's an aftermarket one 'll try to find something a little better (bike came with no muffler)

The inner ones might have a larger main jet because they will run hotter and consume more fuel than the outer cylinders, or it means that someone is an idiot and didnt jet all carbs appropriately.

Just get an aftermarket muffler and rejet appropriately!
