Good weekend in Texas.

So my best friend came to visit because of Eastern and we went to several places I hadnít been before. I thought I would share my thoughts on them:

Entertainment:

*NASA: It is ok to go once, I am not sure if I would repeat visiting NASA. Overall it is pretty interesting and if you haven't gone, you might want to check it out.

*Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio: The last time I went to one of those parks was like 18 years ago. I remember being so scared when I was little, now I was like "uh, I think T1 at TWS (Texas World Speedway) makes me feel more butterflies than this", nonetheless I had a blast, it was pretty fun and we went on a good day, lines were only like 20 minute long.

Moto Related:

*We went to Cherokee park in Milano Texas; I just bought a new bike for the wife so I went to try it on. My friend and I switched bikes a few times (RMZ250 and XR100), the little one held up pretty good. I think I had more fun on the little one than in the big one.
Cherokee is way different than I imagine but I liked it a lot. Seems to be family oriented and has trails for all levels and sizes. I think I still like SHNF better though, nonetheless, I will for sure visit Cherokee in the future.

Food:

*Mai Thai at Kirby near Richmond. Excellent place for Thai food, If you like spicy food order the Green curry Chicken.

*London Sizzler at 59 near Hilcroft. Indian food British style;, small portions but with great flavor. I tried the Lamb kebab and it was freaking good.

Drinks:

*Hans Bierhouse near Kirby and University (Rice Village) it is a little expensive (6 USD per beer) but they have about 50 different kinds of beers on the draft. I am for sure going there at least once a week from now on until I try them all.

Overall it was a great weekend and got to meet a lot of the things Texas has to offer. But now is time to go back a live the routine again.

i miss theme parks, i wanna go to six flags fiesta texas sometime this summer. rollercoasters rule! but i have a feeling that what you said about turn 1 at TWS (Texas World Speedway) is true.

and about the nasa thing, next time get sbfuller to take you on a tour, he'll show you all the super secret stuff. on the sbfuller tour of nasa, you'll get to put moon rocks in your underwear and see the secret aliens!

Hans Beerhouse should have been your first stop.
Woulda made the others more interesting.

J/K.
Sometimes we forget how much stuff there is to do in Texas.
Peeling yourself off the couch or away from the computer is the hardest part.
