Never met Coach Dave personally, but I can see from all the warm wishes from everyone that he must have been a truly good friend to have. RIP and best wishes to all of Dave's family and friends to get through the rough grieving period ahead.

Strange you say that...today while standing with him at the accident I thought about that same comment when we were making plans last night to go ride with him today. I really hoped it was only because he was going to show us the pretty bluebonnets today. Instead it got really bad fast. Glad we could make it on this ride today! Just wish it would of turned out better!

Wow... never in a million years did I think I would hear this news.

We were pulling for you Coach. Hate to hear that you're gone but I know your last day was the best any of us could ask for. Hope that one last forest ride, the friendly faces, the fresh air and beautiful flowers last you an eternity.

I am sure there will be a ride in his honor. When it does come about I will be there, regardless of what else I have planned.

Same for Trini and I- at the gas station in Anderson. He was always helping somebody.

Maybe we can take that memorial ride for him and put out a cross for him at the spot where he went down at the same time.

That would be a nice gesture. I'm in when we can get things sorted.
