Kawasaki Mean Streak Questions

I'm sure I'll have plenty more in the near future but does anyone here have one of these bikes? I bought an '06 and I'm trying to figure out what to put on my mods list. So far the bike has:

PCIII
Vance & Hines Pipes

I'm thinking about doing:

All metal grips
Radiator cover
Tornado Intake (does this look good in person?)
New LP Bracket
LED signals

Any recommendations as far as which to go with or what other mods I should check out? Also, the radiator covers look like they cover a lot of area, do they restrict flow too much, or do they still leave sufficient air flow? This is the specific one I think I am buying:

Thanks for any help!

~Keith

02 meanie

I have an 02 meanie and I love it. I wrecked it last aug on the forest ride and still have not completed the rebuild. Broken back and no money takes its toll. I am going with the V&H Staggershot(?) when i get going on the rebuild. I am also looking at new controls. I saw some at the ROT rally in Austin last year that were really comfortable and cool looking. I just do not have the guys business card with me now. What I am looking for are slightly larger mirrors. Maybe an inch or two wider. I am going with at Mustang seat this time I think. I had a Corbin Rumble seat and it was great but very small passanger area. I have been trying to find out if it is possible for the rear blinkers to light up like the fronts do all the time. It should not be hard and it should increase being visible. Also going with LED's in all the blinker/running lights. When i find the business card I will post it up here.

02, yes you can make the blinkers into blinker/turn signals....you will need to get red lenses however....I will find and post a few links to help you all out here...just give me a few days.....
BTW.....I know how it is, on the broke back issue....

I would NOT put all metal grips on...slippery when wet...and hot! I think you can lower them to, and go with some progressive shocks and front springs for the forks....relocate the rectifier to the front, and move the plate to the side.

I'm down to ride whenever but I do need a new front tire and I've been lazy finding one. I live in Bandera Thur-Mon and Huntsville Mon-Wed usually.

I really just need a more comfortable seat, I just took a 2 hour ride and feel fatigued from that.
