Whats crazy is it looks like the guy on the bike was basically at a stand still because after the impact the guy continues to roll but the bike doesnt look to be skidding at all.

why do your shoes always seem to come off? it really hurts walkin on concrete thats covered in glass. lol

It's actually by design - simple physics. By separating from your body, they reduce the impulse and inertial mass of your foot.
Look at race cars and how the front just evaporates into small pieces.

That's why you should always wear proper clothing that completely breaks down in a crash.
Wearing race boots it's down right dangerous. Flippers are much better suited for crashes
