I will not make the m&g either. My wife has skool that night. I dont think your gonna get 2 bikes in the back of a truck. If they do fit they will not tie down properly. And a 8x20 trailer will hold many bikes. If you turn them parallel with the axles. The bikes dont weigh much. Push them up and lift and pivot the rear.

I was gonna go get my trailer from my grandparents farm but the gas isn't worth it. So thinking of renting one from uhaul and get some insurance for just incase moments. If anyone wants to pitch just let me know and I'll let you know how much it would be for 2/3 days.

Exclamation Possible Problem with the ride

Here's the deal. I bought a Ride Texas Mag Saturday which I clamored on about Saturday afternoon, they have the Texas Map sectioned out with the best rides, best roads, best places to eat, so on and so on. In the central Texas hill country (which we will be) the second best places to ride is the Three Sisters, (which Jason has been clamer'n on about) and it looks really really good for sport bikes, but there is a problem. The Three Sisters is RM 335, 336, and 337 Medina, Leakey and Camp Wood area, and unless you've been living under a rock and donít know west Texas...these HWy's are closer to Del Freaking Rio than Austin Texas. you're per closer to Mexico than San Antonio...

With that said, anyone leaving Saturday isnít going to make this ride...unless you like leaving at 4am and hooking it non-stop through San Antonio to Uvalde then north to Leakey...I am guessing 4.5 + hours easy to the three sisters. Even people in Austin are looking at a 2 hour trip to the sisters which from Austin isnít a big deal. But u cant go till Saturday forget it, unless ur crazy.

We bust this sucker out Friday afternoon to Austin we're golden for an all day event.

Grab some Google maps / earth and check it out. Look up Leakey Texas and you'll see the Sisters, 335, 336, 337 then note the general location in TX.

Just FYI, we need to plan this sucker good Thursday.

i was thinking more of making it out for the drinking on 6th... my bro. just turned 21 and i still haven't bought him a drink yet. i've got some other friends to chill with in austin as well, and i've been looking for an excuse to go. for that matter i may just forget about the bike and see if my wife wants to go hang on 6th and be DD...

If this is correct I vote we decide if this is gonna be a trip to the sisters or a trip to Austin. Basically I see it as 6th or the sisters and not both.
