stoppies on the new bike.. need advice

alright so here's the deal. I've had many MX bikes and just sold my wr250x supermoto. All of these bikes i could pull a descent stoppie on no problem and felt very comfortable doing so.

I've had my '03 cbr600rr for about a month now and every single time i try pull one the front tire just wants to lock up. I've tried at different speeds, jamming on the front and throwing my weight foreward. rolling the brake on hard and bouncing the rear seat... idk.. i'm kinda gettin at a loss.. i'm running stock recommended tire pressure ( i don't think it would really make a difference).. the brakes are fine and feel strong. so i don't know..

One more thing to add is that i do have a lowering link in the back ( not by choice, the bike came like that). my buddy at Northwest honda have me a stock link i will be installing shortly but would it really make that much of a difference?? i would think i should still be able to get the back end up a bit easier.

Anyways, any input is more than welcome. I'm all ears

Thanks

Put the stock link in and get over to True Methodz and ask Javi for the StuntGarbage stoppie tire of choice

Also, make sure you're pulling up on concrete and not dirt!

hahaha.. so i suppse were narrowing it down to the link and front tire then? I mean this isn't a new trick to me. just the bike

though i'm pretty sure you could pull it off prodigy ( i met you the other wednisday, i'm bad with names)...i think that was the first things you did when you rolled out there.. near the entire parking lot haha

Any tire pressure adjustments for stoppies? What would be a good way to warm a front tire up?
