Yeah, I am thinking rebuilding the one I'll be getting as original and then if I like building up the bike try to find me a Stallion (hardtail) to build into a custom rebuilt Mustang. The one I'll have now has too many hard to find parts on it such as the wire wheels and so on to really mess with it much more than stock.

I'm kind of an long timer but I don't recall that bike at all. It does remind me though of some of the old kit type mini bikes and motorcycles you could order out of the backs of magazines. Do you think that's what it is?

They're cool scoots, and if you have all the parts, probably worth the while to rebuild. That is as long as it wasn't stored wet or something...

No, Mustangs were the sh*t back in the late 50s and early 60s. I'm guessing that they were a much cooler alternative to a scooter and much cheaper than a big bike.
Gotta remember that there was not much in the way of small bikes back then. It was Indian or Harley pretty much.
