yea it really screams up past 10k rpm's but it's not overly loud like those stubby level one's or two bros

Yup .. had a Yoshi pipe on mine as well. It was loud when needed but not obnoxious when pulling into the neighborhood.

I always liked the YZF600s. They were great street bikes with decent midrange power and handled and stopped well. Plus they are good for light touring...

I have never rode the Ninja 650 so I can't attest to it but....I would think the YZF would have to have at least 20-30hp more.....that makes a huge difference in acceleration... The 650 will be torquier down low but after that its gonna run out of steam. The YZFs were always very reliable bikes and the engines last a long time. Lastly, IMOP, the YZF just looks tons better.


Personally, I would go YZF.
