its a 2007 red kawasaki zx6r 100% stock in every way, LP# 37k 223 (I think), I filed a police report and well I guess I can just pray ..... thanks for yalls support

This may be a stupid question, but did you have the ignition/bars locked?

I ask because I don't really know how well that system works against keeping your bike from being stolen, figured I would see if yours was "locked".

I've been thinking about getting one of those locks that go around and through the brake rotors.

Ouch. Sorry, man. Same thing happened to me 18 months ago. I'll never go another minute w/o theft insurance!

Disc locks and the head lock dont help. They put the front wheel on a skateboard and roll away. They barely make any noise. The truck is waiting a little ways away. A cable lock is the only thing that really helps.

Yeah...that makes sense.

Well unless they come prepared with 2 skateboards, if you have the disc lock on the back, and the head locked, you might be ok.

Nope because they will also just back up to it and a few guys will all pick it up and throw it in a truck or van and take off......only way is to park it in a garage or have a cable lock. And the cable lock is not gonna stop them just slow them down

Sorry about that man. I hate a thief.

On a side note, my insurance BROKER , told me that I could not get only liability AND theft. That if I wanted theft, I needed full coverage.

Not to thread jack, but have any of you heard this? Or does she not know what the she is talking about?

that is true .... there might be specific insurance companies out there that allow it but I know mine didn't

JK...sorry to hear about that...my hommie JrxGrubzx keep his stuff outside sometimes...i be tellin him to rent a garage or lock it up to a put through the rotor for this very reason

yeah thought about that but I'm not really someone who can do that, I give props to those who pull it off, power to them, but I just reported it to the police ASAP and then called my insurance company to tell them whats up and when they said no I just cancelled ..... so I got $250 back! lol

I will be back on a bike next year
