Was crusing a couple blocks looking over the gas stations available after I just finished my 200ish mile ride back today from San Antonio. BTW, IT WAS WINDY on that ninjette. I did get to ride my friends ninja 500 and for my 6-3 frame it was sooo much more comfortable. We hit up some hill country roads and I loved it! 20mph rated curves on the way to the "three sisters route". WOW! Somebody needs to PM if we have any 20 mph rated twisties better than the FM 3090 which has some terrible road conditions in spots.
Anyway... pulled up to stop sign and someone yelled out from their window, hard to hear, but sounded like "When are you going to put some pipes on those?!?!" I just ignored, it wasn't done very friendly, but kind of making fun of the bike.... so just cruised on, and it was hard to hear.... but geez people, no matter what don't insult someone's ride... come on. I didn't look over and retort, "well before talking, try getting rims on your sorry but 1980 broken down honda civic buddy"...
Sigh... just sharing the persecution we ninjette riders sometimes faced. Not very dramatic story, but finally back in town, so had to post something!
