^^^true, it helps, but the lower center of gravity effects turn in for a corner. Without the weight being higher on thebike, it plants more and doesn't allow such a smooth turn in. the bike will feel heavier.

I take my 540lb beast and crouch it; lower the front 1.25" and keep the rear stock height. This puts alot more pressure on my hands when riding, but also allows alot more turn in. the problem is ground clearance in the front and the possibility to scraping the fairings before pegs due to lower front facia... see avatar.
