I also wouldn't expect for them to turn a "NEW" item into a "USED" item.
I don't think they were asking anyone to work on the bikes, I think they just wanted someone to act like a human being and maybe try to help out not just close the doors in their faces and leave them stuck out.

Cycle gear here in town let me use their stand to change my tire. Bought the tire from them and all. It was really randomn though... my tire looked really bad and i got caught up in a storm. So I pulled in, borrowed a stand, and changed the tire. Although it did help to have friends working there too.

Well, my rear tire got ate up on the 3 sisters and we made it as far as San Antonio and I didn't want to chance it. We ended up staying overnight and dumpster dived for a decent take-off and have Alamo Powersports mount it.
The whole deal sucked. But at least we got home in one piece.

Yeah, the guys at 45 are cool. I get along with them on a first name basis.

I really don't think that any of the employees at that store in S.A. had EVER ridden a bike or been associated with the biker culture. We help each other out no matter if you ride a cruiser, sportbike, or a trike. We're all there to enjoy the road that's ours.

In a big city like Houston do you ever see cage drivers wave anything other than the bird at other drivers? NO! But most every bike I pass says hi.
