You can't compare it to some blinged out custom to this.
With a good rider, this thing would embarrass anything and everything on two wheels. On a road track of course.
its all good.
however you cant tell me that who ever buys a desmo isnt doing it partially out of the head turn factor. im not saying they are not amazing bikes at all. they are awesome. i actually drooled over those desmos at eximport for like 30 minutes. but a modern 600 is more than enough on the streets anyway.

and take a closer look at that "blinged out custom". full ohlins suspension, superchared, intercooled, vtwin kicking around 200 hp on a ti frame weighing in around 440 lbs. im not under the illusion that it is a race bike or anything. but i bet it performs a little better than one of those grotesque, stretched, pieces of chromed out that they build on the discovery channel.
