Actually, I was suspecting that bike shop on hwy6 up near memorial. They put a new set of Pirellis on my bike, then it's stolen 3 days later. Now they are gone!

That would be incorrect. There are people who would LOVE to post the details. But have been told it would be in their best interests not to divulge any details.

Not at all. Lawyers are only applicable in slander issues and when laws are broken. Divulging said info does not fall under either category.

I'm not in the favorable position to release the information. Feel free to contact the administrators and moderators of this forum. They have all the details!

But back to the subject at hand, rumor is there are more arrests to be made in Arlington!! Tonight local bike night should be interesting!!

Investigators tracked two stolen motorcycles to the home of Van Su Tran in the 7200 block of George Finger Road on Tuesday, said Arlington police Detective Jesse Minton, who also serves the Tarrant Regional Auto Crimes Task Force spokesman.

After police obtained an arrest warrant, they returned to Mr. Tranís home at 7 a.m. Wednesday. When no one answered the door, officers forced their way in and found Mr. Tran, his wife and baby.

Investigators found parts belonging to more than 30 motorcycles, including wheels, gas tanks, seats and windshields. Bike parts filled two bedrooms which had hanging racks and shelves.

Van Su Tran "It looked like a store," said detective Minton. "If it goes on a motorcycle it was in there."

Mr. Tran, 32, was arrested and being held Wednesday afternoon in the Arlington jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. He was charged with two counts of felony theft.

Computer equipment was also seized. Police said Mr. Tran may have sold the parts online.

The task force has been investigating motorcycle thefts for about a month in Arlington and Fort Worth, Detective Minton said. Three other people have been identified by police as "persons of interest."
