Ducati 900ss motor...Rebuild???

Anyone know what it would possibly cost to rebuild the motor on a ducati 900ss or the price of a new one....What all could have possibly broke on the inside when the belt broke?........Just wandering if its worth the time effort and money...thanks for the help.

Not cheap, but I do them all the time, Doing 1 now, couple routes to go, first need to determine what broke and go from there, sometimes its best to just replace with a good used one, but if the rest of the bike is nice then its worth it, pm me and I can give U some estimates

yup, and just cuz he's getting in cheap, doesn't mean it'll be cheap in the end.

he could find a used 250 for $2k and be riding tom. vs $$$$ and who knows when the duc will be running.
