I think Casey needs an order of French Cries to go with that WAaaaaaaBURGER. I can see Rossi's in his head now and that is not good for little Casey. He's made his own bed, now lie down like a big boy. It was poor sportsmanship, especially right in front of a reporter and live camera. Stupid. I hope Rossi does put the hex on the little bastid. If Casey thought it was too much, why didn't he back off? He'd be singing a different tune had he won, instead of the better man.

Definetly the best race of the season so far. I just thought it was lame how i didn't get to see anyone else beside Stoner and Rossi pretty much.

Sheeeeeeeite, that was the most exciting thing going mang! The rest of the pack was shown, and I doubt anything of real interest was going on or the spotters for Dorna would have cut to it- they don't even let the announcers know when they're cutting to a different spot on the track, they just do it.

Besides, I didn't want to miss a minute of the battle between Stoner and Rossi- reminiscent of the battles with Sete and Max. Max and Sete ran with Rossi temporarily, but usually crashed (Biaggi) or crashed/ dropped back (Gibberchoke).

Ahhh, the memories...

Personally, I thought that it was just "respectable". Certainly, anyone that can take a bike they've got limited experience with and qualify respectably and then finish an extremely tough race on it qualifies as "spectacular" to us mere mortals. However, I think that the potential is there to do much better. IMHO, I think that there are other riders who could have done better, and if RLH hadn't had that terrible crash and injuries, he could have done as well as Spies did.

I know journalists that ride these bikes after the season is over have an extremely hard time with them. They always go back to "it was set up for so-n-so, so I wasn't able to really push it...", but then they talk about how you have to be going so fast to get the carbon brakes to actually work, how difficult the power is to manage, how harsh the suspension is unless you're running incredible lap times, etc, etc, etc. I think that the journalists that get these rare rides are the best gauge for how tough it is to ride these bikes when comparing to us- the folks that will never get that chance.

All that said, I wish Hacker would have done more, but mad props to the guy for what he did do.

Anybody, think the announcer was pretty goofy. I mean like over and over again "VALENTINO ROOOSSSSYYY...CASEY STTTOOONNER, ROSSSI....STOOOONER." Come on if you can't think of anything better to say shut the heck up.

That corkscrew pass shouldn't even be debated. Rossi was clearly infront of Stoner before the right hander, coming out. He fked up the apex yah, but thats after he made the pass. Rossi pulled the ol'trick that Edwards made on him years back. Just not as clean.

I bet Lorenzo's confidence is crushed now. He had too much success too fast and now its biting him. Hopefully it doesn't ruin him.

Shweeet race!

+1 Greg White was annoying. He also screwed up on a couple of names and Kevin Schwantz had to correct his stupid a$$.

The only other person I would have given it to in the Kawi paddock from AMA would be Roger Lee Hayden. Unfortunately, with a fractured pelvis, he lost that chance in round two of the AMA at Barber.

There are some notables in WSBK that could fill the bill though, but it's hard for them to be a "wild card" if they aren't in the States.
