does anybody know what happen to houston motorsports yamaha on 59s. in stafford? dad called me and said the place was empty. I am just wondering if they moved or closed up. I go there for stock parts every now and then.

I go by there all the time and unless they have had some major changes in the last week, they do not sell new Yamaha's. They are a Kawasaki dealer, and also sell Big Dog choppers, some other cruisers, and misc. used bikes.

Their is a Yamaha dealer off of 59 S. though. Just hop on the 59 feeder going north and you'll see it right before you pass Beltway 8 (or at least somewhere around that vicinity). I'm not sure what they are called, but they will definitely have Yamaha OEM parts.

Ok, a bit of confusion there... I'm assuming Houston Motosports is the place I just directed TRIPPN to, in which case I would be a little silly. Still doesn't make sense that Mancuso would buy a little dealership out, as opposed to just starting to sell Yamaha's under their own name. Anyway good luck to ya TRIPPN.

They bought the franchise from them. Yamaha only allows so many dealers so in order to get yamaha mancuso had to buy the dealership. That's the same thing they did with Houston Kawasaki.
