I'm all about having a beater daily driver for when it rains and then having a nice bike. Both of my vehicles got great gas mileage too, so I was the only one of my friends not about gas prices.

Also, I have been scanning craigslist and other resources to see if anyone is parting it out. I got a call last night from an ambulance driver in Sugarland who saw my post on craigslist and said he saw my bike in front of Razzous off of 59 yesterday. He claimed it looked exactly the same but had a large scratch on the gas tank on the left side. It was gone by the time I got there though... *shrug*
I was all about that but the beater recently bit the big one soooo had to go get something new,to me anyways

Personally, I LOVE having an old solid metal truck. People cut me off, drive like morons, and I just shrug my shoulders. I spent $800 on the truck, did a full tune up on it myself with 20% discounted items from Advanced Auto Parts (I used to be an assistant manager there), and it runs beautifully. The most I've spent on it was replacing all the tires so I wouldn't die in the rain.

If I could find a newer model nissan pickup I'd probably trade up though... It would be sweet to get a 99' or so, maybe something with power windows.
