Oh , this just in, breaking news guys.

Sgt. Joe Phoenix ended his 11-year career with the Centralia Police Department Friday. When he talked with a Morning Sentinel reporter, he attributed his decision to leave to a "quota system" that he said exists in the department.

I bet your position would change if you were doing 70 in a 60 and a cop pulled out and gave chase, hit a nail and died, and you were brought up on man slaughter charges. When you see things one way for others but different for yourself, it's call hypocracy...
that's the reason we have court systems. people of your peers to deciede what's right and wrong. were not talking about a soccor mom doing 70 in a 60, thats totally different. two completly different circumstances. two different stories. this is a bike clearly going extrememly fast like it was the fucken grand prix on the highway. he could have potential killed himself or worse, hit soccor mom's van that was doing 70 and killed a couple of 5 year old soccor kids. i swear if you gave the same jury that soccor mom bs, they would have the same answer. Hypocrit my , if my nelagance lead to the loss of life of ANYBODY, i will accept my punishment no matter what it is. Besides, i answer to a higher power.

you say that till it really happens to you then you see it in a diffrent way. it's easy to be on the outside and say you would just take the repsonsibility for something that wasn't your fault.

You gotto give the rider the reasonable of doubts. Maybe he would of stop after getting clocked going 100+, the cop made the decision to chase him at high rated speed. It's his own fault. He could of call ahead instead of pursuiting him.

How many time have you seen cops doing fly-bys with no emergency calls? Only if the citizen could report cops speeding...
