I must be doing sumthing wrong, my "F" light comes on right around 115-120 miles

meaning roughly ~30 mpg

2008 yamaha r6s

i just filled up again on my 03 r6 105 miles 2.44 gallons
got about 43 mpg ..... this time just riding normal...
