lookin for my ride still

I just have to give props to my man....

Ok here is the story, my bike (06 gs500f), has been acting kinda funny lately, and I needed to get the standard maintinence on it, and as of right now im really REALLY tight on cash, so I searched around and around this forum to find someone to help me. Some people turned me down and others just simply didnt reply, so finally I came across Chris24.

Within 2 hours I got an answer back (what reliability), and we set up a time for friday. On Friday morning I forgotten I had an exam that evening, so I gave him a call to reschedule a time for saturday and he was EXTREMELY patient and was not upset with me.

I cant believe this guy, he lives and breathes motorcycles, within 2 hours we finished everything that needed to be done on my bike, and he taught me about other things too on his bike . He and I had a drink(he and his beer and me with H2O), and talked about alot of stuff. Really outstanding guy, is my impression of him.

All I got to say is, there are some really GREAT people on this forum (I really feel thankful for people I have met that are like that). All in all, Im glad to meet a fellow motohouston member (props to Solracer for putting this site together and networking people from all walks of life to come together and share in their love of this sport), and thanks especially to Chris24 - you rock!

lol. im not so great. remember, like i said if you had an ex500 i might of not have been up for it. GS500's FOR THE WIN! maybe i would have anyways... i dont know. i think im just getting back into a sidework/self employment mode. yes, folks...i do side jobs, but i dont advertise here, out of respect for forum rules/my employer is a sponser...i advertise on craigslist when i feel like doing side work though...

what i really need is a better paying full time job, if anyone knows a dealership/garage looking to hire a tech who "lives and breathes" bikes and pays well let me know! id appreciate it! i KNOW im worth $15 an hour, easily, mancuso SW just doesnt have enough work coming in.

thanks for the props chris, you got a real good bike, keep ridin safe and taking care of it!
Brought to you by Carls Jr.!

"I get a total charge out of inspiring others to follow their dreams and not to fear change. Embrace it. Realize that money isn't the end-all, be-all. What is important, what really has value, is Time. As motorcyclists, we all face increased risks on the road, and on the track. Do something with your time; don't have a bag full of regrets when the train comes to a stop. "

A wise man once told me: "No matter how fine she is, just remember. Somewhere, someone is tired of her !"
