did you hit a construction barrel? if so... the construction company owns that part of the road and they are responsible to make sure people can get through without incident. so if you hit a construction barrel, they should be getting you a new bike and paying for your injuries. I used to work for a road construction company, they were very about traffic control for this very reason. anyway, hope you heal up quick

We were in San Antonio one time and I saw one of those barrels out in my lane. The other 2 guys in front of me never saw it. One avoided it and the other guy nailed it hard. It ended up breaking his fender and lower fairing. But he managed to stay upright. We pulled over, whiped our and then headed home. He made a police report and filed a claim on the construction companies insurance. He got his money and had his bike fixed. So I wouldn't hesitate to call the company and request the insurance information from the construction company. BTW shouldn't this be in general discussion?

glad to hear your o.k. bro. i have the pics on my phone but don't know how to get them from the phone to here, i somebody wants, i can text them to you and you can post them up, or maybe speedfreak knows how to post them. kamakaze, i would definately call the construction company, it's for sure their fault for all of that being in the feeder. heal up quickly bro. also if you need a witness or anything else, i can give you my number and i'll help you out.

and bdmpastx, it probably should be in general discussion, but it was a long night last night, sorry.

wtf man. he ok? when i left i was turning of med center onto feeder and see a guy in a cage hit a bunch. i was like wtf cause i just saw a barrel sailing across the road. The coststruction company didnt have them there. too young black dudes were in a silver car (sedan i beleive) they hit several and then went into the ditch between 45 and the feeder. i saw them get out of the car while it was in the ditch.

it won't matter if someone else hit them to cause them to be in the road... the fact that they were in the road while the construction company is supposed to maintaining it is the problem. while i was in Cali with that construction company, we had a drunk lady get in wreck in our construction zone... at the time of the wreck, there was 2 cones knocked over... we were liable because it confused her drunk ... we paid up instead of taking the thousands it would have taken to get out of it. they know they are liable
