It still amazes me that people buy bikes when the only place they have to park them is in their apartment parking lot. Apartments are hit hard by theives because there is no protection for them there. Theives are the scum of the earth. They are nothing more than little *****s out to what others have worked hard to get because they are useless as human beings and have failed in life and cant afford to just buy what they want!

Rant over...

Im sorry to hear of your loss but just about every bike theft is out of an apartment complex lot.

i agree with your message but disagree with the way you said it... people living in apartments also wanna have bikes you know... but i agree because i live in a condo that limits the choices of bikes i want to get: e.g. no bmw bike for me :(

Yea I am definitely kicking myself for not having lojack right now. If I get this bike back I am going to straight to Patrick to get it installed. Plus, I will park it inside my apartment. Thanks for everyone's help.

Yes I have insurance but its a 1000 dollar deductible and they give you the cash value of the bike. Basically since I had a loan through my bank, I will still have to pay about 2300 bucks!!

ok so due 2 ur level of desparation I take it u didn't have at least liablity AND theft coverage, which woulda only cost u about $100/month at the higher insurance joints, cheaper thru SF....

$11k bike + no garage + no theft insurance = IDIOT! Sorry but that's what it is, take it like a man!

And guess what people, lojack can be removed off of several bikes a lot easier than u think. BUY PHUCKING INSURANCE, ESPECIALLY IF UR BIKE IS NOT SECURE.

** edit ** I see ur new post u have the insurance, but YOU FORGOT THE GAP INSURANCE, so my post still stands!!!!!!
