RIP John Myrick

My good friend John Myrick was killed in a car accident Tuesday Feb 19th. He was a big car and bike buff with a couple of Vipers, Lingenfelter Vette, a twin turbo Viper truck, Ducati bike etc. We had been to many drag race and autocross events in our Vipers. We also got 115mph speeding tickets together once when we were following each other back from San Antonio Raceway. We rode bikes together too and we rode at TWS (Texas World Speedway). He was a great guy and will be missed.

JOHN BRADFORD MYRICK, age 43, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in an automobile accident.

He was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School. John earned a Chemical Engineering Degree from Texas A&M, and was a Process Engineer with Commonwealth Engineering. He was an avid car buff, and a gun, knife, and flashlight collector.

John is survived by his wife JoLynn of 25 years; their two puppies, Dinky and Scooter; parents, Doyle and Janis Myrick; brother, Brent Myrick; sister, Bobbie Horrell; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Buie; and numerous other loving relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2008, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Earthman Southwest Chapel, 12555 South Kirkwood, Stafford, TX.
