I was reading in the BYMRA rules that oil slicks are encouraged, and if deemed as the cause of another rider's crash, they add points to your overall style scores.

baseball bats are covered in the rule book

Safety 4.20(a)
1. Baseball bats must be concealed and under 30". Baseball bats can only be used to pick off lappers and cannot be used to take position when competing a racer of the same class.

actually....i'll be on my 08' huffy 10spd.....i lost a few gears from my lowside crash last weekend, and i'm limited to 3 gears. so it should be an even race.
