I wonder how many motorists (car drivers/passengers) have been killed by motorcyclists so far in 2007.

The number of sportbike deaths vs. cruiser deaths is drastically different(with sportbikes leading the pack). The numbers were posted here a few months back, but I'm not sure where the thread is.

Man, I didnt want to start a new thread but i thought I would mention it while we are on the subject. I work w/ a guy that rode a Harley and he laughed when I mentioned wheres your lid, He proceeded to show me his do-rag and said this is his lid. Sad to say he died this past Saturday morning 2am coming from the rally to his apt in clear lake. Great guy, but now a statistic. RIP bro.

Well, I vouch like everyone else when it comes to cruisers not wearing helmets. A friend and bro on this site actuatlly put his on leaving the rally jus cause of others around us; but his 'helmet' only protected the very top of his head and didn't settle my stomach well...

there is a lot more metal on the larger cruisers and the rider isn't in a catapult position (although still launched) when hit...

I dunno... I feel the desire to ride the next day, weekend or year, I suit up... So I sweat alittle in the heat of the sun; Helps me keep my figure
