buy it back, cut the roof off, weld some angle iron in the back (to haul bikes with), put some big speakers in it, and pimp the out of it. wear goggles though.

no air-bag deploy? worth 700-1000 at salvage dependent on miles.

Remember things happen for a reson, somtimes blessings come in a way you may not see.

Glad everyone is aok, thats alot of luck!

I can have every salvigable part off of that thing, motor, tranny, rearend, body pannels, interior, and all striped in one afternoon. all I ask is for the radio and maybe a little cash pending on how much you sell it all for. (100 bucks could do me just fine) let me know if you want some help. and thats me working alone. I will help out, for just the radio, or a nice dinner somewhere. Ask Turbolshatch, I work good and fast for food! (and/or money-radio)

Chris, I too have flipped a Blazer on the highway...back in 01 I flipped my 96 and cut my losses...similar situation that you have. I had just finished paying off the truck like 2 months earlier, done about 50 hours of manual labor repairing front fenders and bottom of doors ( salt up north eats vehicle). I cut my losses. Towing fees to flip it over and tow it back + keeping it a few days was like 500 or 600 bucks. I didn't want to pay that tab, nor did I have a place to store it to tear it down. If it were me, I'd count my blessings that my family was okay and move on. Just my 2 cents of course.

glad everybodys alright,

looks like the rear tires were older, thats where the fishtail started and w/ the SUV Center of Gravity, thats all it took.

not alot left to salvage. IMO, just let them have it.

SUV's aren't the safest for familys as so many believe.

i would say part it out or chop the top, take out all but the 2 front seats and play with it. but don't let the salvage yard keep it. if the motor and tranny are good, someone will buy them that needs it... they would even come take the motor out and tranny out. i had to do it on my car.

call around to some of the salvage yards and tell them what you have and see if they will buy it from you...........if you get the right place and you have something they want alot of times they will pay your storage fee and give you some cash on top of that to take the vehicle off your hands.....

glad all were OK!!!!

as bad as it looks it could be repaired as well, I'd buy it back and put it on ebay for $1000 see if anyone buys it.

That looks like a nasty off, I am glad you family is safe.

If you decide to part it out I have dibbs on the front seats and the center console provided they are not damaged to bad. Look like the interior is the same as my Sdime.

Glad the family's okay.
For the truck, go get what you can from it and leave it there. Some city ordinance will not let you park your wrecked car on your drive way for so long. Check on it before you bring it home and make sure you could get someone to haul the leftover after you finished stripping it.

I'm glad to hear nobody was seriously injured. How is your wife feeling today, though? Sometimes injuries show up later in this type of accident. Her guardian angel was watching over her.

So? What did you decide to do about the truck? :/:

If you decide not to go ahead with parting it, please let me know and I'll pay to get it out of storage and put $50 in your pocket. I'll chop the top and keep it at my country house to tear up instead of my regular ride.
