Walmart helmets

Anyone here ever used a Walmart helmet? I've gotten frustrated looking for helmets and now I just feel like getting a cheap $80 Walmart helmet and being done w/ it until I can find something I really like.

They had a HJC on sale at 1960 Yamaha (by perry road) for 79 dollars. I would check them out right:

Re: Walmart helmets

I bought one for a spare...it's really not that bad. Pretty comfortable, good fit and finish, dunno about the crash protection tho (and hope I never find out). Comparable to the HJC CL-10 I had a few years back. Good for the money I suppose.

Bieffe actually owned the Bell helmets since 1991. I'm sure you already knew that though since you knew the name (I didn't until I did some research on them.)

Here's an article about Bell helmets, the first couple paragraphs talks about them but then they start reviewing one.

Yeah I don't think the ones that are sold at Walmart are Snell either. They're def. DOT though.
