07 GSXR 600

price check on 250 kawasaki.

i was talking to a buddy of mine about buying his 02' 250 kawasaki w/1800 miles
(fairly good condition) for my wife to learn how to ride on. we were trying to come to an agreement on a price, but i dont know what would be a good price, i dont want to give more than its worth. any input?

No more than $2,200 on the low end $1,600 I have even seen some go for $1,200

i sold my '06 for 2,200 with 14k miles.. so about 1500~1800 is a decent price range

'02 Honda VFR800

I bought a 01 Ninja beginning of last year with 1800 miles and paid $1700 for it. I should've paid a bit less because it was in a very crappy shape but I was clueless back then.

I had checked the book back then and that is what it said. If it is in good shape, $1500 - $1800 should be acceptable.

Btw - NADA states: Low Retail: $1200 and Average Retail $ 1580.

Check Kelly Blue Book and if that price is also in that range, it oughta give you something to negotiate with.
