Best way I can think of (other than rush hour - you're screwed anyway) is to either exit Memorial/Kiberly and go left under the freeway or cur Memorial to Wilcrest and back up to 10.

Oh - and that ramp has been open throughout construction. The report says that safety inspectors noticed something and shut it down until it can be investigated further. I'd rather deal with traffic any day than end up falling with a huge a$$ flyover collapse.
yes, cops like to sit on BF for about 2 miles east of BW8....just flow with traffic and you'll be fine

TxDOT's bridge engineers have completed their inspection and found that the Beltway 8 northbound to I-10/Katy westbound direct connector ramp is structurally sufficient. As an added measure of precaution, TxDOT contractors have placed additional concrete barriers to offset any potential load adjustments as a result of this past weekend's bridge demolition. As of 6:15 PM, the ramp has been reopened to traffic.

As a reminder, this ramp is scheduled for permanent closure in mid-October as a part of the I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange Reconstruction.
