03 gix 750 timing chain guide? of Manual?

I pulled the cams do change the shims on my 03 gix. after I pulled the cams, I manually turned the crank over, and somehow it's pushed up the intake side timing chain guide and I can not for life of me get it to seat back down in the case. Any hints or tips? Anyone have the manual on PDF?

tensioner's already out.......Id have never been able to get the cams out with it on.

Actually, Im looking at the manual, I guess the tensioner is suppose to push into the side of the of the guide. I could have sworn it actually rode along the chain but I could have been wrong...

tensioner should ride on the guide..the guide has a bolt in it which should keep it from moving up and down...im confused...you have any pics?

You also run the risk of jumping a tooth when the tensioner is removed and the engine is turned
