This is awesome! Man I need to figure out a way to get into a R3 without getting kicked out of the house!

There's a guy out there who rents 250 race bikes for like 250$ a day. I'm not sure if he's still doing that though.

For this "how we roll" event.... ambulance and personnel on site? Any other future dates? They roll in groups like any other org? 20 min sessions?

Ok so this is how we do things. Yes there is medical staff on standby. We won't run unless there is. Usually we have a new riders course every third Sunday @ 3PM. As for the format of how we do things there it is VERY different from what I'm assuming you're used to. We have no sessions or groups. Once the track goes hot at 10am it will stay that way until 4pm. Meaning if you wanted to you can go out there and ride for say an hour, pit in and take a 10 min brake, then head back out there for another hour. In terms of track time and days there isn't another track that comes close. That being said. The newer guys also share the track with the faster guys. That's why we will only let people who are not new to track days ride here.

There are covered paddocks, but we share them with the cars. It's also first come first serve. There's even garages available for rent, but as of right now there's a very long waiting list for those.

Sure no problem. Hopefully you guys can make it out there. We just got word that they are going to restrict the number of guests that attend since it's starting to get packed. So hopefully you make the trip down there. They're having a track day this Saturday.

It was a great time and the "How we Roll" group did really well! I think I had the most fun on my RS125

I know the photographer from other track days and race weekends. I'll PM you when I find any info.

The photographer is Chris Vicroy. He's a freelance photographer who for the most part shoots at the track. He even takes video sometimes too. He posts the photos on our private Facebook group. Go on your Facebook search bar and type in Texas Motorcycle academy at Harris hill. We should be the first result you find.

I actually wanted to try that track. I know they offered a good deal membership for bikes. But, people I asked who had been there told me too bumpy and small I think too. I'm just relating what I was told by several CMRA riders.

No bumps, they call it "character" lol, and yes it is small and not very wide. Little bikes will love it. Anything over 500cc gets to be a little overkill.

This track and its management are awesome. I went to a rider intro course back in November 2016 with a few friends and really enjoyed the lay-out and orchestration of how the track functions. The moral is welcoming & productive with lots of experienced riders and employees willing to share their knowledge and suggestions. I look forward to returning as soon as my work schedule allows!! I hear that there is allot of new tarmac on the track as well!

I had a couple of questions about H2R's membership that I couldn't find in the FAQ or similar. After you pay the initial $500 membership fee it says its $150 a month or similar. What happens if you miss a month or something. Or if you have an injury and can't ride. Can you go "inactive" and then pick back up when your well? Do you have to pay the initial $500 fee again? Or how does that work?
