Well Im not sure if I even have a warrant... I did go to court for the offense... I just totally forgot to pay the fine. Then when they served me with a warrant and gave me amnesty, I went back to the court to get it straightened out. They allowed me to do a payment plan. Fine was over $500 for a wheelie in Stafford, TX. I started making payments but once again forgot about it. So im not sure if a warrant is still present. I'm glad I took y'alls advice and didn't go. lol.... Can anyone run my DL# and see if I still have any warrants?

BTW.. my DL is expired due to a DWI back sometime.

Man, whatever you do, don't ride up to SB on 1960 on Weds nights.. you'll be jailbait fer sure!

A wise man once told me: "No matter how fine she is, just remember. Somewhere, someone is tired of her !"

If you still have the ticket # you can check the status here. It has to be within two years.

A friend paid his sons outstanding fine after it showed he had a warrant for unpaid fines. It was cleared up without ever setting foot in a court.

When I got married last year i had some tickets outstanding and my license was expired. Can't get a marriage license without one. I cleared them up, but when I would call the 800 number to find out if they were clear, they weren't. When I got to the DPS I talked to the officer and asked him what happens if they hadn't cleared. He said they will send me a letter. Long story short, when my license was supposed to arrive, I got a letter stating my license request was denied and to call them. Of course by that time everything had cleared. Long story short, according to the officer, standard outstanding moving violations aren't considered warrants anymore. The officers petitioned the state to have that changed so they didn't have to escort people EVERY time they had a small outstanding ticket. Big waste of time for simple $1-200 tickets. I don't know if your ticket is worse or any different than mine, but this is my experience and I had 3 including one in Dallas that wasn't even mine. While I was at the DPS they didn't say a single thing about my record. You can get that 800 number off DPS' website. And I recommend everyone check that periodically. The outstanding ticket on my record that wasn't mine was a different address and name, some how i guess they got license numbers mixed up. Just like credit, your record can have errors also.
