yeah i'll probably take you up on those pics and stock tail light.. I hope to get this fixed asap cause i havent been on a good ride in a looooong time.

What i'll probably do is hook up temp. blinkers and license plate light just to get it to pass inspection tomorrow and then really go and chase the problem down.

Sounds like you may have a short in the taillight assy. itself, especially if you hooked up another one and had no problems.

thats pretty much what ive narrowed it down to, but the weird thing is, it will work fine hooked up for a while, then quit.

Sounds like possibly a loose wire connection inside the light, or on the circuit board.
