Warriors power forward Draymond Green puts local reporter on blast after Houston floo

The Houston Rockets fell to the Golden State Warriors 121-94 Sunday and after the game, Warriors power forward Draymond Green answered questions from the media. One question didn't go over so well for one local reporter.

At one point during the press conference, a reporter asked Green about the Houston area flooding, but Green appeared to be frustrated by the question and told him that he knew what he was trying to do. He just wasn't having it.

"Brother. You asked me about the flood in practice the other day and I said I pray for the city of Houston," Green said.

Green said he felt like the reporter was trying to get a controversial statement out of him.

"People are losing their homes, losing their cars, losing their lives, losing loved ones, and you're trying to get a controversial statement out of me about the 3s that we're hitting. I know what you're getting at, but you're not getting that out of me. It sucks," Green said.

Green's statement has gone viral and has many people of Houston appreciating his response and standing up for the city in such a tough time.

"Much respect @Money23Green for standing up for the ppl of Houston like this. That reporter should be fined for asking a stupid qst," tweeted Etan Thomas.

"I had respect for Draymond before. Now I got MADD RESPECT for him," tweeted Mike Fanelli.

At least eight people have died as a result of the historic flooding that hit the Houston area on April 18.

The Warriors are up 3-1. The next game is in Oakland on Wednesday.
