WSB 2016 Championship standings after Assen

Reigning WSBK Champion Rea sits comfortably at the top






JONATHAN Rea has extended his lead in the Championship standings after doing the double at the Dutch TT Circuit in Assen this weekend to 181-points.

Chaz Davies is in second with 136-points whilst Kawasaki's Tom Sykes is 14-points adrift. After finishing third in Assen Michael van der Mark is in a comfortable fourth with 90-points whilst America's Nicky Hayden is fifth with 67-points after a third place in race one.

The next World Superbike race takes place at the end of April in Imola, Italy for the fifth round of the Championship.
