UTMB Galveston plans to develop Zika vaccine

GALVESTON, Texas -*The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston has agreed to take on the challenge of developing a vaccine for the Zika virus, which is spread by mosquitoes and has been linked to birth defects.
