Help Wanted: Sport Rider Associate Editor

We're looking for an Associate Editor to work with the Sport Rider crew in our Irvine, CA office. This is a great opportunity for someone with both riding and writing experience, and we're presently accepting applications from qualified candidates. Before you slam out an e-mail saying "I'll do it!" be sure you meet the requirements listed below.

Job summary
  • Assist Editor with editorial planning for magazine and website
  • Organize, perform and write single-bike road tests and multi-bike comparison tests
  • Photograph and write product reviews and technical articles
  • Generate relevant content for website
  • Frequent travel may be required
  • Journalism or English degree desired
  • 2-4 years publishing experience preferred
  • Language skills suitable for a professional publishing position, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation, plus proofreading and copyediting capabilities
  • At least five to ten years experience riding motorcycles, with racing experience helpful, but not required
  • Mechanical working experience with motorcycles, including disassembly/assembly and installation of accessories
