The Houston Rockets announced the cancellation of their Fan Fest event on Saturday amid severe weather concerns.

The Rockets released the following statement:

"Due to the forecast of severe rain and potential flash floods in the Houston area throughout the weekend, Saturday’s Open Practice and Fan Fest has been CANCELLED. Our fans’ safety is our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience.

"Fans that have pre-purchased an autograph or experience pass will receive information regarding refund or exchange options on Monday."
