Low pressure in Gulf next week could mean heavy rain for some coastal regions
We continue to monitor a potential area of low pressure set to develop and move into the Gulf of Mexico next week. Right now, we do not expect it to deepen into a tropical storm or hurricane, as atmospheric conditions do not look favorable for hurricane development.
