Houston Texans named 7th most valuable NFL franchise by Forbes magazine
The Houston Texans are the seventh most valuable franchise in the National Football League, according to Forbes magazine.
The Texans are worth $2.5 billion. That's a 35 percent increase in value over last year for owner Bob McNair.
The Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones ranked No. 1 for the ninth consecutive year.
Rounding out the top five are the New England Patriots ($3.2 billion), Washington Redskins ($2.85 billion), New York Giants ($2.8 billion) and San Francisco 49ers ($2.7 billion). Just ahead of the Texans at No. 6 were the New York Jets ($2.6 billion).
The Buffalo Bills were the least valuable NFL team at $1.4 billion.
