Report: Texans RB Foster could return sooner than expected

Texans running back Arian Foster was expected to miss a significant portion of the regular season after suffering a groin injury in training camp. But according to a recent report by NFL.com, Foster could be back earlier in the season.

Ian Rapoport reported that Foster could be eyeing a return near the end of September. The Texans did not put Foster on the injured reserve/designated to return list.

Running backs Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes and Chris Polk are all on the 53-man roster.
