So while gbalias is working on the tank i was trying to think up color scheme ideas heres the first one i came up with and where i got my inspiration from. Also throw out some ideas on color schemes im going for a more modern look

Electrolysis seemed to have worked (first time doing it) now to clean it up, put some heat paint on it and wrap it with heat wrap (Classic cafe racer look)

got the bike back and now time to get the tank stripped, sealed and smoothed to be ready for paint. Any one have ideas for colors ??

That aircraft paint remover stuff is scary ..... i got a tiny speck on my arm ... holy SH!% ya well here are the results, looks like some one has repaired a dent on it before. Next is more sanding then bondo

Their jig to cut down the rear frame was genius. The clip ons are a good choice. Sonic dad kept Em up right. It's ok but I like the lower look. Can't wait to see the finished product

Tank is now sealed on the inside, that tank sealer from kbs seemed to have done a good job and left a nice shiny silver look

Done with the bondo, still needs some sanding but after that it is time for filler primer
