Talking I'm back! So happy~ !

So, let me first say... WHATS UP MH!?

Its been along time since I've been on here, I sold my bike in 2012 sadly. Been without a bike for the last 3 years almost and Ive dearly missed it. I had a 2005 GSXR 600 and loved riding and meeting up with friends and riding with my dad on weekends. Like I said I sold it though and ever since amonth after that I have missed being on 2 wheels, I longed for a bike for so long. However I was under some financial burden that prevented me from getting a bike again for so long. But over the last 3 years ive worked on getting promoted at my job, earning more money, managing my credit very carfully... and...

well... Last friday... I got myself a brand new 0 miles on the odometer bike... I will get to the selection in just a min... I did not chose a cruiser or supersport or supermoto. I loved the power and acceleration of a SS, but I love the smaller bikes like the ninja 250r I learned on cause i loved to be able to just run through the gears and shift, but I ran into the dreaded just not enough HP on the ninja to really feel comfortable on the highway at all times... so I did some research and fell in love with the looks and style of a certain bike that I ended up purchasing.

I got the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R3, and i'm so glad I did. Even after only 50 miles. This bike has what i like, its light, has a really aggresive sounding engine for a twin, has almost double the HP as a ninja 250r. And rides just fine on the highway with PLENTY of power to pass and accelerate. I never cared about being able to reach 100+ on a bike anyways. Dont get me wrong I miss the sound and torque of the gixxer. But the style color sound and power of the R3 just fit me perfect.

At the end of the day, I plan to never be without 2 wheels again, I took the bike out tonight after a long day at work and it just felt right. The last 3 years I really felt an absence. Now its filled.

TLDR; I sold a 600cc sportbike 3 years ago, missed it, without bike 3 years, managed credit, bought R3, happy with choice, Im back

Welcome back, and nice choice!

I really like the looks of the smaller displacement machines. Especially Yamaha. Sounds like you are going to enjoy it for a long time.
