My ninja can ride!

I've been telling folks for years that when I get on a winding road, somewhere up in the mountains or out west, I run a pretty quick pace. My lack of testicular fortitude means I usually let off and take it easy before my near race pace lands me in a hospital bed. For 10 years I've been telling anyone that will listen that the best road rider I know is my Brawp Racing race partner, Kraze Kris. When I start to even think I'm fast, he blazes by on one wheel. On the racetrack, the skillset is a bit more equal, cause it's a safer environment, but I can count on Kris always besting my pace by 2 seconds. On the street, where confidence and skill are thrown in with uncertainty, changing conditions, Kraze Kris is, well, Kraze. He usually has finished lunch when I catch up.

Today, Kris showed a few more people how to get 'er done at the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. The course is now asphalt from bottom to top, so the 600cc class is all race, no dirt, with danger looming at every corner. luckily, Kris is all out of to give.

In his second year running the PPIHC, Kris finished 3rd, only 4 seconds out of 1st place. Watching the video I see 3 "missed" shifts I can only attribute to the quirky but blazingly fast MV Agusta 675 that probably cost him those exact 4 seconds. (total time, 10:52) I have my money on him on top of the podium in 2016.

Congrats also to Joe P (Prussiano, boot camp instructor and all around coolest guy on the planet) for a 2nd place in the electric motorcycle division. His pace was super fast till the last section. Darn Batteries.

AWESOME stuff from our hometown race heroes!!!!!!
Faster and Faster, Slowly! BRAWP it like its hot, BRAWP it like its hot.
