Safety Reminder

Headed down I-10. Green Kawi with tail light out at 5:30 am. As I was going by I pointed to the back of the bike that something was wrong. He followed me off the exit and I stopped on side street and I let him know about the light being out and it's bad enough being seen with lights early in the morning.
I was just glad he had a good attitude and didn't think I was an old guy hassling him for riding. Truth, I am an old guy but not hassling him.

So quick reminder do the walk around before heading out on the road.

I'm glad you took the time to give him a heads up. So many people would have just called the guy a dumbass and kept on with their commute.

We all can let life rush us through the weeks and sometimes fail to inspect the machines that get us there. Some people know their bikes/vehicles like it is an extension of their body (they can feel and hear if something is not right), but most electrical issues will go unnoticed unless someone else points it out.

I respect your kindness.

Good looking out Glen! Pre-ride inspection is something I've taken for granted in the past; but can be very important in keeping you alive!
