What's up clint... I don't know if you remember me, but I used to ride with you guys a while ago on the blue R6.... dude, riding down Highway 1, the 101, and the 5 in California is going to be real nice... all coastal... but the only thing you have to know that it gets reals cold in the morning and at sunset.... the marine layer comes in pretty thick (kinda like fog) so just be real careful.... the moutains are awesome and the twisties are cool...

if you are down by LA, look at riding Angeles crest highway, my last company i was with should have finished paving it by now, should be really nice, right along the tops of the mountains overlooking LA for about 45 miles

Thanks again for the suggestions! Yeah one thing I am concerned about is the drastic weather change, I remember going through west tx one year and it was hot as the whole trip, and as soon as I got to NM the temperature dropped like 20 degrees! Really awesome feeling! I have the alter ego jacket by joe rocket that you can change, so I will start out with just the summer mesh, but will bring the rest in case it gets cold, along with a good mix summer and winter clothes. IndoMLA, I remember a couple guys had R6's, whats your name? Hopefully we cant get some group rides together, back then we were hitting every sunday afternoon, would like to get there again eventually. later
