He doesn't even have to do that. It isn't the throttle body that goes bad, it's the actuator. He'd be better served to remove the actuator and either open it up and sodder the broken connection or send it off and have it done for $75.

And as far as the throttle body. The F1 light came on so I took it to the shop and that's what they told me. It still runs just not at top performance without that being fixed.
